There are a number of ways you may be able to access therapy at New Season Therapy.
You are welcome to attend as a private client without a referral, or you may be eligible to access therapy through Medicare or another funded pathway.
If you're unsure which option applies to you, you're welcome to get in touch before booking.

$220 per 50–60 minute session
You don't need a referral or a diagnosis to access therapy privately. You can contact me directly to make an appointment and pay the full session fee yourself.
Private appointments can be a good option if you don't have a Medicare referral, don't meet the requirements of another funding program, or simply prefer to access therapy independently.

Medicare rebate: $89.50
Out-of-pocket cost: $130.50If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP or another eligible medical practitioner, you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate towards the cost of your therapy sessions.
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I am able to provide psychological therapy services under Medicare's Better Access initiative.
If you're unsure whether you have a current Mental Health Treatment Plan or how to obtain one, you can speak with your GP.

I provide therapeutic supports to self-managed and plan managed NDIS participants where the therapy I provide is appropriate to the participant's disability-related needs and NDIS goals.
If your NDIS plan is self-managed, you have greater flexibility in choosing the providers you work with, including providers who are not registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Fees are charged in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
We can discuss whether the support I provide is appropriate for your NDIS plan and goals before commencing.

I am an approved counselling and psychological care provider under the National Redress Scheme.
The National Redress Scheme provides support to people who experienced institutional child sexual abuse. Eligible people who have received an offer of redress may be able to access counselling and psychological care as part of their redress.
I provide a trauma-informed and respectful therapeutic environment where survivors can access support at their own pace.
Fees are billed in accordance with the applicable Redress Counselling Program fee schedule, with no gap fee payable by the client.

$210 per 60-minute session
I provide professional supervision for social workers and people working across the community and human services sector, as well as leadership mentoring for emerging and established leaders.
Organisational and group supervision arrangements are also available by negotiation.

I am a listed practitioner with Trauma Support Providers, a directory of experienced mental health practitioners providing trauma-informed support to survivors of trauma.
I provide trauma-informed counselling and therapy for young people aged 12 and above and adults, including EMDR therapy for people seeking support to process traumatic and distressing life experiences.

I understand that sometimes things happen and appointments need to be changed.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask that you provide as much notice as possible.
Late cancellations and appointments that are not attended may incur a cancellation fee. Full details of the cancellation policy will be provided when you make your first booking.
